Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Proficient in APQP, GD&T, SPC, PFMEA, and PPAP
- Background in Precision Machining environments
- Effective communication skills with operators, peers, and management
Responsibilities
- Oversee APQP initiatives and promote continuous improvement to ensure timely PPAP submissions
- Collaborate with product teams to establish standardized workflows and cost-effective procedures
- Direct capital equipment planning from technical justification through to execution
- Draft and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and cost metrics
- Mentor operators on machine usage, SPC practices, and practical problem-solving techniques
- Analyze complex drawings and apply GD&T to verify manufacturability
- Provide accurate quotes for new components and update existing customer quotes with current information
- Adhere to QMS and EMS protocols in daily manufacturing activities
