Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a Quality Engineer role or a similar capacity
- Strong understanding of aluminum alloys and their properties preferred
- Familiarity with AS400, AARTs, and Minitab is advantageous
- Knowledge of casting, rolling, and finishing technology
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and focus on results
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities
- Proven ability in enhancing operational quality and efficiency
- Understanding of industry regulatory standards and quality control practices
Responsibilities
- Lead quality control initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Apply expertise in aluminum alloys to refine processes and minimize costs
- Collaborate closely with the production team to enforce quality control measures and guarantee consistent product quality
- Analyze data using AS400, AARTs, and Minitab to identify trends and derive actionable insights
- Manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks according to urgency and significance
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective measures
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members regarding quality control methods and best practices
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the efficiency of our casting, rolling, and finishing processes
- Create and implement quality control documentation, including procedures, standards, and specifications
- Participate in both internal and external audits, ensuring all operations align with quality standards
