Requirements
Must:
- Must possess a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- At least 5 years of experience in the engineering sector.
- Substantial background in designing structures such as precast concrete, box culverts, utilities, retaining walls, and bridges.
- Skilled in engineering software including Civil 3D, CAD, AutoCAD, and LRFD.
- In-depth knowledge of ACI 318 and ACI 319 standards.
- Experience in load rating and structural design.
Responsibilities
- Apply expert engineering principles in the planning, design, and supervision of civil engineering projects.
- Use advanced software tools such as Civil 3D, CAD, AutoCAD, and LRFD for design and project analysis.
- Design complex structures which include precast concrete, box culverts, utilities, retaining walls, and bridges.
- Conduct load rating and ensure structural designs meet specified criteria.
- Guarantee all designs adhere to ACI 318 and ACI 319 standards.
- Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, particularly those pursuing their E.I.T.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards in project completion.
- Attend project meetings and communicate technical information effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and standards to enhance professional knowledge.
