Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing strong craftsmanship and user experience focus.
- Proven track record of designing for developer audiences across various touchpoints.
- Familiarity with all aspects of UX work, including journey mapping, user flows, wireframing, interaction design, visual design, and prototype testing.
- Proficiency in modern design tools and AI-assisted workflows for efficient iteration and high-quality output.
- Solid foundation in information architecture, visual hierarchy, interaction design, and accessibility practices.
- Experience with developer platforms, IoT, connectivity, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS is preferred.
- Experience designing for both product-led growth and enterprise needs, recognizing where those design challenges differ.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design rationales confidently and craft UX copy thoughtfully.
- Ability to manage time effectively, produce timely artifacts, and maintain clear communication with engineering and product teams.
- Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and operate effectively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance Hubbles primary dashboard, facilitating device onboarding and fleet management for developers and operators.
- Create experiences with an emphasis on speed, structuring projects into manageable phases while validating concepts early.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical writers to develop clear, navigable developer documentation that is useful at every stage.
- Design the Hubble mobile app, considering the unique needs of developers and operators in various contexts.
- Ensure a seamless user journey by connecting and integrating user experiences across documentation, APIs, device setups, and applications.
- Develop and maintain a design language system that supports scaling and accelerates engineering processes.
- Produce comprehensive design artifacts, including user flows and state coverage for various operational scenarios.
- Leverage AI tools for rapid exploration and efficient synthesis of user research to inform design iterations.
- Engage directly with developers and operators to gather insights that shape design strategies.
- Collaborate with Growth teams on self-serve content and activation flows to enhance user experiences.
