Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in a comparable position within the engineering or manufacturing sector, ideally in aerospace.
- Proficient in managing the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process.
- Solid understanding of process enhancement techniques and methodologies.
- Proven experience in leading teams effectively.
- Facilities management expertise is essential.
- Experience with capital expenditures (CapEx) projects is required.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead and oversee process enhancement initiatives to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and execute manufacturing processes by analyzing product requirements.
- Leverage knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to boost manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify, recommend, and implement CapEx projects aimed at increasing productivity and minimizing costs.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure processes align with strategic company goals.
- Establish testing protocols and manage documentation to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
- Supervise facilities management, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and meet safety regulations.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to foster process improvements and enhance efficiency.
- Manage a small team of Facilities Technicians to ensure safe and efficient operations.
