Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of project accounting experience within the construction sector
- Proficient in Sage, Procore, AIA billing, cost reporting, and certified payroll processes
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with a focus on precision
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial aspects of construction projects, including drafting budgets, forecasts, and tracking costs
- Prepare and submit AIA billing for various projects
- Create and submit certified payroll reports
- Review and evaluate project costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgets
- Generate monthly financial statements and reports for project managers and senior management
- Collaborate closely with project managers to achieve financial targets
- Assist with project audits and provide necessary support
- Maintain precise and updated records for all financial transactions
- Ensure adherence to all accounting standards and regulations
- Undertake additional duties as required
