Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience is acceptable.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data engineering or similar roles.
- Proficient in Python, T-SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Strong background in data integration, ETL development, and data warehouse construction.
- Familiarity with data governance practices and security protocols, especially in healthcare.
- Excellent analytical skills to turn raw data into meaningful insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and uphold scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate to design system architecture and data flow strategies.
- Partner with business units and technical teams to troubleshoot data issues and support ongoing analytics initiatives.
- Conduct data wrangling tasks like ingestion, transformation, and cleaning to enable effective analysis.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical plans and data-driven solutions.
- Engage in peer code reviews and disseminate best practices throughout the engineering team.
- Create and maintain documentation related to data workflows, architecture, and models.
- Generate custom reports and visualizations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Assist in managing and troubleshooting a substantial volume of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure consistency of data within applications.
