Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelors degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or a minimum of 6 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2-4 years of experience in systems engineering, network engineering, or system integration.
- Proficient in Red Hat, Windows, and Windows Server operating environments.
- Strong understanding of network design, configuration, and maintenance principles.
- Ability to create technical documentation, including network diagrams and system configurations.
- Experience troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues across networked systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, support, and maintain our organizations systems and network infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware, software, and networking components.
- Analyze, configure, modify, test, and maintain networked systems and environments.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain servers, switches, workstations, cables, and other networking equipment.
- Configure network interfaces for local servers and workstations to ensure proper connectivity.
- Maintain network diagrams and system-related installation and configuration documentation.
- Assist in identifying hardware for new or existing network environments.
- Support troubleshooting of user-related or system performance issues.
- Be adaptable to various aspects of the work and gain exposure to complex tasks within the job function.
