Requirements
Must:
- Active CPA License required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on tax preparation
- Strong proficiency in preparing returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Experience working with privately held businesses and individual clientele
- Industry knowledge in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or small business is advantageous
- Familiarity with trusts, estates, and nonprofit (990) returns is a plus
- Demonstrated capability to manage client relationships and collaborate effectively within a team
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
- Perform tax projections and planning for clients to maximize financial outcomes
- Research intricate tax issues and deliver practical recommendations
- Handle multiple client engagements and deadlines concurrently
- Work in partnership with colleagues and partners to ensure outstanding client service
- Cultivate relationships with clients through proactive communication and advisory support
- Identify areas for process enhancement and efficiency in tax preparation tasks
