Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential; an advanced degree or professional Accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience, with a preference for a senior-level position.
- Solid comprehension of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
- Experience with Alteryx is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and enter entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses by compiling and analyzing account data.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts through verification, allocation, posting, reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries.
- Summarize financial status by gathering information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Support external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing necessary information to auditors.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements to avoid legal challenges.
- Safeguard financial information by performing database backups.
- Protect the organizations interests by maintaining confidentiality of information.
- Keep job knowledge current by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional materials, maintaining networks, and participating in professional associations.
- Achieve accounting and organizational objectives by completing related tasks as needed.
