Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years of experience in reviewing and editing large, formal technical or policy documents.
- Minimum of 2 years in managing document control, version tracking, and archival systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in coordinating input from diverse teams to create cohesive deliverables.
- A minimum of 5 years of advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Experience in Medi-Cal or similar large healthcare programs is desirable.
- Background in business process improvement for large organizations or government bodies is a plus.
- Familiarity with the CMS Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) Framework is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively guide cross-functional teams.
- Technical Writing Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage documentation for the Medi-Cal enterprise, specifically Advance Planning Documents (APDs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for project documentation.
- Edit and proofread documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established style standards.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with CMS standards and federal regulations.
- Review and refine correspondence intended for CMS.
- Maintain and enhance documentation templates, standards, and best practices.
- Create and manage a centralized repository for APDs and related records.
- Archive, organize, and track documentation associated with enhanced funding activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with CMS and relevant stakeholders for updates on regulatory changes.
- Update templates in response to changes in state and federal policy.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for advanced document formatting and data organization.
- Manage content within SharePoint and DocuSign, employing workflows and libraries.
- Align documentation deliverables with project timelines following CA-PMF standards.
- Use project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) to monitor progress and deliverables.
- Compile and present scheduled and ad hoc reports to management and federal partners.
