Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience as a Solutions Architect or Data Engineer, focusing on production-level solutions
- More than 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role with enterprise clients
- Strong competency in Python, Java, or Scala, along with advanced SQL abilities
- Practical knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or EMR, and familiarity with distributed/cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark), orchestration tools (Airflow), and data integration solutions (Fivetran, Matillion, ADF)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and presenting solutions
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive data and AI/ML solutions that prioritize security, performance, and scalability
- Engage with enterprise clients to elucidate their challenges and convert business requirements into technical designs
- Facilitate architecture discussions, oversee proof of concepts, and develop roadmaps, diagrams, and documentation for solutions
- Actively work with modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP, and associated streaming/integration technologies (Kafka, Fivetran, dbt, Airflow)
- Foster trust with customer teams and executives to support product adoption and service expansion
- Mentor engineers, enhancing their technical skills and expertise
- Present solutions through engaging demos and presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences
