Requirements
Must:
- Significant expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs and machine controls
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or Controls Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing context
- Strong technical proficiency in automation and controls, electrical troubleshooting, equipment troubleshooting, electric drive systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and automation equipment
- Effective leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team of maintenance technicians and engineers
- Outstanding communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, offering direction, support, and encouragement to ensure quality completion of tasks
- Perform regular equipment and system inspections to identify and resolve potential problems before they escalate
- Create and maintain an extensive inventory of spare parts and materials to ensure availability as needed
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and appropriately schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks
- Initiate and execute continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, decrease downtime, and streamline maintenance processes
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure compliance with financial constraints
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate timely and cost-effective sourcing of parts and materials
- Provide routine updates to senior management regarding maintenance activities, including KPIs, budget reviews, and project progress
