Requirements
Must:

- Proven expertise in maintaining paper mill machinery.
- Strong skills in welding, HVAC maintenance, and PLC controls.
- Good understanding of hydraulic systems and their relevance to paper mill operations.
- Capable of safely and effectively operating various types of machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional work standards.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to collaborate within a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on paper mill machinery to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, including those related to hydraulic systems and PLC controls.
- Operate different types of machinery and equipment as part of your responsibilities.
- Apply welding skills for necessary repairs and fabrications.
- Maintain HVAC systems to create a comfortable and safe working environment.
- Document and keep precise records of all maintenance and repair activities conducted.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to proactively identify potential issues and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during maintenance activities.
Description
We are a dynamic team in the manufacturing sector seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a background in Paper Mill Machinery. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive base salary between $25 and $36 per hour, alongside a company-paid health plan and generous PTO.
