Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Masters degree or PhD is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar capacity.
- Proven experience with machine learning models, AWS, Python, Scala, data pipelines, Spark, and Snowflake.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement machine learning solutions at scale on AWS.
- Solid background in software development emphasizing quality, performance, and scalability.
- Experience in architecting robust data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, access, and storage methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies.
- AWS Certified Machine Learning or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive cloud-based machine learning production pipelines including data exploration, sampling, training data generation, feature engineering, model creation, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure that solutions are robust, scalable, and adhere to enterprise-level security standards.
- Collaborate with the data science team to convert prototypes into tangible products, services, and features.
- Construct and maintain data platforms for machine learning model development, ensuring ready access to data for generating insights.
- Develop and sustain scalable data pipelines and create new API integrations to accommodate increasing data complexity and volume.
- Work with cross-functional teams to comprehend their business needs and proactively recommend and implement technology and data solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and consulting services throughout the organization, guiding internal teams on the application of machine learning methodologies and practices.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advancements to leverage the best techniques and tools for our projects.
