Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, Docker)
- Demonstrable experience with AWS cloud services and hybrid (cloud + on-prem) infrastructure
- Proficient in Python and/or Java for automation and infrastructure tasks
- Experience with managing IoT devices or large-scale backend systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CDK)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain hybrid cloud and on-premise IoT infrastructure ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
- Spearhead modernization projects from design through to production deployment
- Create tools for deployment, management, and monitoring of backend systems and IoT devices
- Implement robust device-to-cloud connectivity and networking solutions
- Troubleshoot and enhance large-scale distributed systems and production environments
- Develop automation strategies using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CDK, or similar)
- Build and maintain scripts/tools in Python (or Java where applicable) for infrastructure tasks
- Improve observability and monitoring with custom or off-the-shelf solutions
- Provide mentorship to team members on best practices for DevOps, cloud computing, and system design
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and R&D teams
