Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in developing electrohydraulic vehicle solutions (considering experience in electronic controls for vehicle systems as well)
- Strong technical knowledge in fluid power, hydraulics, and/or electronic control systems
- Experience in vehicle systems design and functional safety processes
- Capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage system-level risk assessments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in project management and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create technical value propositions and cultivate customer relationships
- Willingness to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Capture and interpret customer requirements to create system-level vehicle architectures
- Design, propose, and implement integrated hydraulic and electronic control solutions
- Lead the design, installation, testing, and validation of advanced vehicle systems at the system level
- Conduct system FMEAs and assist in functional safety planning
- Deliver Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to internal engineering and product teams to inform development and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including controls, software, and mechanical engineers
- Coordinate with international engineering teams on essential technologies and systems approaches
- Provide technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
