Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware engineering
- Proven expertise in designing microcontroller-based and mixed-signal embedded systems
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
- Strong skills in schematic capture and PCB layout
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities at the component level
- Experience in leading engineering teams and mentoring staff
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
Responsibilities
- Oversee complete hardware development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of reliable products
- Lead design initiatives for new platforms and products, providing technical guidance throughout
- Mentor hardware engineers and facilitate Agile Scrum sessions, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Conduct design and troubleshooting of embedded systems at a component level
- Execute schematic capture, support PCB layout activities, and manage board validation
- Create and uphold comprehensive technical documentation, including design and specification files
- Drive design review sessions to confirm robust hardware systems
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and production teams to enhance development processes
