Requirements
Must:

- Over 5 years of experience in software development, specializing in Node.JS, React, and the insurance sector
- Proven track record in API development and integrating third-party services
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and relevant tools
- Practical experience with ZenDesk, SmartCom, and Axway
- Comprehensive understanding of the insurance industrys digital requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex issues
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor team members
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical parties
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile work setting
- Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, development, and rollout of applications utilizing Node.JS and React
- Convert business needs into technical specifications and oversee their successful execution
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Craft and maintain strong, scalable, and secure API integrations
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to discover opportunities for system improvements
- Oversee integrations with third-party services such as ZenDesk, SmartCom, and Axway
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
- Engage in all phases of the application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing
