Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing building automation systems (BAS)
- Proven expertise with Tridium Niagara platform
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Proficiency in BAS controls software and applications, including AutoCAD and MS Project
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertaining to building automation systems
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in building automation and control systems
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of building automation systems (BAS) to meet project specifications
- Provide expert guidance to the engineering team on BAS controls installation, programming, and commissioning
- Generate controls submittals and oversee system programming
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders for successful project completion within budget and time constraints
- Offer technical training and support to team members and clients regarding control systems usage and maintenance
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in building automation and control systems
- Perform regular system audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs and operational manuals
