Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Magento and PHP development
- Proficient in Magento versions 1, 2, and 2.3, as well as PHP and Laravel
- Strong understanding of Magento architecture and its various extensions
- Experience in creating Magento modules, themes, and APIs
- Proficient with MySQL, Postgres, or alternative database systems
- Familiar with JavaScript, jQuery, XHTML, CSS, XML, and SVN
- Solid grasp of e-commerce best practices and system architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex software issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee e-commerce websites and applications utilizing Magento 1, Magento 2, PHP, and Laravel
- Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy various applications
- Participate in project planning and deployment discussions
- Customize and enhance the front-end experience of Magento
- Create Magento modules in PHP while adhering to industry best practices
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and debug applications
- Update website features and apply security patches as needed
- Collaborate with fellow developers and designers to achieve project objectives and streamline workflows
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Magento and PHP
