Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire.
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience (including internships).
- Proficiency with Red Hat, Windows, and Windows Server operating environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a team environment.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in hardware/software integration environments.
- Familiarity with oVirt or similar virtualization platforms.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and switch configuration.
- Experience with PKI certificate exchange.
- Exposure to ACAS scans and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity, RMF, and system accreditation processes.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and validate software as per approved DevOps lifecycle processes.
- Integrate and test software deliveries, verify bug fixes, and perform regression testing across various hardware and operating system configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software integration challenges including networking, virtualization, and system compatibility issues.
- Support and document test results in line with Agile and DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams during sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment procedures to improve software reliability and efficiency.
