Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting standards, regulations, and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and supervisory experience.
- Over 5 years of combined experience in accounting and finance.
- Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of fostering team development.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment for decision-making.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and results-driven mindset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department, including end-of-month procedures, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, general ledger, payroll, and budgeting.
- Analyze accounting data and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Establish and maintain effective accounting practices, policies, and principles.
- Supervise daily business operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and enhance operational systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Lead the coordination and completion of annual audits.
- Identify areas for system and procedural improvements and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign tasks and guide staff to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Meet the organizations financial objectives.
- Maintain detailed fiscal files and records to document all transactions.
- Formulate and implement financial policies and ensure adherence.
- Guide a team of finance professionals, supporting their growth and development.
- Provide strategic insights to the executive management team, including the CEO/President.
- Oversee the financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and the preparation of financial reports.
- Advise on long-term planning for business and financial growth.
