Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a related business systems role
- Proficient in managing SaaS platforms, identity and access management (IAM), and security best practices
- Extensive experience with Google Workspace and other cloud-based business applications
- Strong operational mindset with a keen interest in automation and process enhancement
- Ability to manage systems independently instead of relying on a ticket-based help desk
- Experience in vendor management and handling technical escalations
- Detail-oriented with a focus on clean permissions, naming standards, and thorough documentation
- Skill in converting technical decisions into tangible business results
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage core business systems relevant to Operations, Sales, and internal teams
- Control system configurations, integrations, permissions, and overall technical integrity
- Serve as the internal super user, promoting tool adoption and best practices
- Manage the entire Joiner/Mover/Leaver process
- Implement least-privilege access policies and conduct regular permission audits
- Administer licenses, credentials, and SaaS subscriptions with a focus on security and financial efficiency
- Recognize and automate repetitive workflows to alleviate operational challenges
- Utilize AI and automation tools to enhance troubleshooting, documentation, and internal efficiency
- Convert organizational needs into scalable technical solutions
- Act as the main technical liaison with an external IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Handle issue escalation, manage support workflows, and maintain service quality
- Directly administer Google Workspace and other essential systems without full outsourcing.
