Requirements

Must:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience required; Bachelors degree preferred. - At least 2 years of expertise in IT support, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting. - Proficient in Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and common business applications. - Familiar with networking fundamentals such as LAN/Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs. - Experience with ITSM or helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., FreshService, Jira, GLPI, Xurrent, or similar). - Knowledge of IT asset management, device imaging, and endpoint patching practices. - Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks like NIST CSF or ISO 27001. - Experience with collaboration and conferencing hardware (e.g., Logitech, Poly, or Crestron Teams Rooms). - Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach. - Manual dexterity and capability to lift, move, and install IT equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities

- Provide daily IT support for production systems and office workstations within the facility. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production IT infrastructure, including network switches and industrial PCs. - Support and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms, conferencing technology, and collaboration tools. - Ensure all IT incidents and service requests are logged and resolved in the ITSM/ticketing system. - Collaborate with North American infrastructure and cybersecurity teams for IT security compliance. - Conduct routine system checks, preventative maintenance, and basic network troubleshooting on-site. - Manage imaging, deployment, patching, and updates of Windows-based devices following global IT policies. - Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning in Active Directory. - Help with hardware lifecycle management, including asset tracking and disposal. - Offer remote troubleshooting and after-hours support for North American and European facilities as necessary. - Support plant operations during maintenance windows and critical production periods. - Update and maintain IT documentation reflecting current systems and configurations. - Escalate complex or recurring issues to regional infrastructure teams for analysis and resolution. - Perform additional duties as directed in support of operational and IT goals.
