Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical systems design
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with other CAD software is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing methods, and construction processes
- Strong technical drawing capabilities
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently
- Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards
Responsibilities
- Create and draft intricate mechanical systems for diverse construction projects utilizing Revit
- Collaborate with the project team to devise innovative and effective design solutions
- Examine and interpret project specifications, ensuring designs conform to necessary requirements
- Perform detailed calculations to determine installation norms and standards
- Inspect installations and monitor operations to ensure adherence to design, equipment specifications, and safety regulations
- Work closely with fellow designers, drafters, and engineers to guarantee coordinated design systems
- Offer technical guidance to project personnel as necessary
- Continuously enhance knowledge and remain updated with new technologies and equipment
- Ensure all work aligns with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates on progress and challenges
