Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Construction sector, focusing on commercial projects.
- Bachelors degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven history of successfully overseeing commercial construction endeavors from inception to completion.
- In-depth understanding of construction management techniques, methodologies, and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of building materials, construction specifics, and essential rules and regulations.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Exceptional time management and project coordination abilities, managing multiple priorities with ease.
- Strong leadership qualities and team management capabilities, motivating team members to excel.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with construction management software tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from the initial conception to final delivery.
- Create detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, necessary resources, budget, and timelines.
- Coordinate construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor contractual performance, reviewing work progress daily.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building codes, safety inspections, and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals effectively.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders promptly and clearly.
- Identify and oversee project dependencies and critical paths, tracking project milestones and deliverables.
- Actively manage changes in project scope, foresee potential issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and generate recommendation reports to assess successful and unsuccessful project components.
