Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- EIT or PE license preferred
- Over 8 years of experience in designing and managing MEP projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software
- Proven expertise in designing power and lighting systems for complex projects
- Ability to develop electrical designs from initial concept to completion
- Experience in preparing engineering design calculations and layouts
- Skilled in producing comprehensive engineering reports and narratives
- Capable of coordinating electrical design requirements with architecture and mechanical disciplines
- Background in educational, healthcare, hospitality, mixed-use, multi-family, and civic projects
- Proficient in mentoring junior staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards
- Strong technical leadership and management abilities
Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical engineering team in project management
- Design and oversee the execution of electrical systems for various commercial projects
- Conduct detailed engineering calculations and layouts
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Prepare and present detailed engineering reports and documentation
- Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders throughout project phases
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards in all designs
