Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong knowledge of web markup languages, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Good understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS.
- Proficient with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Familiarity with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Basic skills in image editing tools for cropping and resizing images; experience with Gimp or Photoshop is a bonus.
- Excellent understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
- Proficient with version control tools, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the Construction industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new user-facing features while ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Construct reusable code and libraries for future applications.
- Enhance application performance for speed and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Validate user input before sending data to back-end services.
- Engage in discussions with clients to clarify project requirements.
- Create prototypes for applications and websites.
- Develop and enforce design standards and brand guidelines.
- Test new software applications and resolve any bugs.
- Stay updated on current technologies and industry trends.
