Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software development, particularly in adaptable environments requiring self-sufficiency.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with innovative problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work independently and efficiently.
- A user-centered approach, demonstrating enthusiasm for leveraging software to tackle impactful engineering challenges.
- Eagerness to join an early-stage team focused on creating tools that augment advanced hardware systems and teams.
- Willingness to travel 25–50% to engage with clients at technical locations, such as aerospace testing facilities or precision manufacturing sites.
- Experience in developing backend systems using Java or other relevant backend languages, tools, and frameworks.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customized software solutions, tools, and integrations that cater to specific customer requirements, emphasizing rapid iteration and functional prototypes.
- Design and uphold robust data workflows ensuring seamless integration between client data systems and our internal platforms, often in complex and unconventional settings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Operations, to assist with technical assessments, direct pre-sales discussions, and outline the scope of client-facing projects.
- Act as a primary advocate for customers by providing technical feedback and user insights, influencing product direction, and informing future feature development.
- Contribute to team expansion through involvement in recruitment efforts, conducting technical interviews, and aiding the onboarding process for new engineering members.
