Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, particularly focusing on supplier development
- Certification in ISO, AS, or IATF
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with quality methodologies such as APQP, FMEA, and SPC
- Proven track record in conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work seamlessly with suppliers and in-house teams
- Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant quality software systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and establish supplier quality evaluation and control systems
- Conduct routine supplier audits to ensure conformity with regulatory requirements
- Evaluate supplier production and quality capabilities to pinpoint possible risks and areas for enhancement
- Partner with suppliers to enhance performance and tackle quality challenges
- Apply quality tools like APQP, FMEA, and SPC to spur process enhancements
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supplier quality issues and ensure compliance with company standards
- Engage in the supplier selection process through quality audits and assessments
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with suppliers
- Educate suppliers to perform effectively according to established standards
