Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering position, focusing on process enhancement, robotics, machine design, and PLCs
- Demonstrated experience in leading and executing continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing setting
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing complex production challenges and applying effective solutions
- Strong project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple projects concurrently and hitting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
- A firm commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all phases of manufacturing operations
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and machinery to align with our strategic goals and operational demands
- Implement and oversee robotics systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in our production operations
- Create and maintain machine designs that fulfill our performance, reliability, and cost criteria
- Employ PLCs to automate and regulate manufacturing processes and equipment
- Lead and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to boost our manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve intricate manufacturing issues and apply effective solutions
- Offer technical support and training to our manufacturing staff to ensure optimal operation and upkeep of our machinery and processes
- Stay informed about the latest manufacturing technologies, trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our operations
