Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline; a Masters degree is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a leadership capacity
- In-depth knowledge of airfoil design and manufacturing techniques
- Solid grasp of quality assurance practices and methodologies for process enhancement
- Strong leadership qualities with an ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset for effective decision-making
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across various departments
- Proficient in engineering software and tools
- Certification in Project Management or Lean Manufacturing is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all facets of the manufacturing process to ensure cost-effectiveness and timeliness
- Formulate and execute manufacturing strategies that align with our business objectives
- Lead the engineering team in the design and development of manufacturing processes, particularly focusing on airfoil design
- Establish and manage quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize costs
- Work closely with other departments, such as supply chain and product development, to streamline operations
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, promoting a secure and healthy work environment
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, cultivating a culture of continuous growth
- Manage project schedules and resources, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of all projects
