Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems (internships or academic projects included)
- Proficient in C or C++ programming languages
- Understanding of microcontrollers and fundamental embedded architecture
- Familiarity with standard communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and others
- Exposure to RTOS or embedded Linux is advantageous
- Basic debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or other diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of embedded firmware for connected devices
- Support board bring-up and validate hardware functionality
- Troubleshoot firmware issues in laboratory settings utilizing standard diagnostic instruments
- Contribute to feature development with guidance from senior engineering staff
- Help enhance code for optimal performance, memory usage, and power efficiency
- Participate in design and code review processes
- Document development activities and support testing initiatives
