Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development
- Proficient in Yocto, Embedded Linux, Microprocessors, and cryptography theory
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
- Expertise in OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in reading schematics and data sheets for components
- Strong documentation and writing capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and collaborative setting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail, committed to high standards of quality and accuracy
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and rigorously test embedded software systems to ensure reliability and safety
- Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance
- Utilize expertise in Yocto, Embedded Linux, Microprocessors, and cryptography theory to innovate solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to clarify software specifications and requirements
- Participate in code and design reviews to uphold our high development standards
- Troubleshoot and address software defects and other technical challenges
- Produce clear, maintainable, and efficient code
- Stay informed of the latest technological trends and integrate them into our initiatives
- Provide technical coaching and mentorship to fellow developers and engineers
