Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Masters degree or CPA certification is a plus
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a related area
- Strong knowledge of S Corporations, Corporations, and Individual income tax returns
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional project management, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and training capabilities
- Proficient in tax software and relevant technology
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for corporations, individuals, and partnerships
- Conduct tax research and develop strategies to optimize client tax situations
- Assist in creating and implementing effective tax planning strategies
- Stay updated on tax law changes to offer accurate client advice
- Mentor junior staff and ensure the quality of their work
- Communicate with tax authorities and support clients during audits
- Collaborate with team members to enhance client service
- Apply a deep understanding of intricate tax concepts in client engagements
