Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within the manufacturing sector
- In-depth knowledge of part and tool procurement and inventory management
- Strong grasp of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities with a knack for multitasking and meeting deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex equipment issues
- Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with various departments and management levels
- Proficient in maintenance management software and relevant computer applications
- Proven commitment to safety and adherence to applicable regulations and policies
- Capability to work independently as well as within a team, showcasing leadership and initiative
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime during manufacturing
- Collaborate with different departments to assess their equipment requirements and schedule maintenance tasks accordingly
- Ensure the availability of necessary parts and tools for all scheduled maintenance activities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical maintenance supplies and components
- Work closely with the purchasing team to procure necessary parts and tools promptly
- Oversee the execution of the maintenance schedule, making adjustments based on equipment performance and operational demands
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and proactively develop preventative maintenance strategies
- Partner with the maintenance team to resolve complex equipment challenges and implement solutions
- Provide regular reports on maintenance actions, equipment performance, and inventory status to management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities
