Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Analytics, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS and/or Azure services focused on data, compute, storage, networking, and integration.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Extensive SQL skills, particularly in troubleshooting and query optimization.
- Experience in monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, and maintaining environment stability.
- Background in consulting with external clients to provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, enhance, and maintain customer data platforms across various cloud environments.
- Drive improvements in cost efficiency, performance, scalability, and reliability for systems running on Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and comparable ecosystems.
- Utilize strong financial operations, data operations, and IT operations skills to ensure platform stability and efficiency.
- Construct, refine, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines for data and platform operations.
- Employ Infrastructure as Code methodologies to automate setup and maintain consistency in environments.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and best practices for incident management.
- Lead or assist in migrations, integrations, and modernization projects across cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed systems.
- Assess and deploy platform functionalities and enhancements that align with customer objectives.
