Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Analytics, etc.)
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure services related to data, computing, storage, networking, and integration
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Git-based pipelines)
- Extensive SQL skills, including the ability to debug and optimize queries
- Experience in monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, and ensuring environment stability
- Background in consulting with direct client engagement
Responsibilities
- Oversee, monitor, and enhance customer data platforms within cloud environments
- Drive improvements in cost efficiency, performance, scalability, and reliability across platforms like Snowflake, AWS, and Azure
- Utilize FinOps, data operations, and IT operations expertise to ensure platform stability and efficiency
- Design, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and platform deployments
- Employ infrastructure as code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning and ensure environmental consistency
- Establish monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and best practices for incident management
- Support migrations, integrations, and modernization initiatives across cloud data warehouses and data lakes
- Assess and implement platform features and enhancements aligned with customer business objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing guidance on best practices and identifying risks
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure transparency and predictability
