Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Azure Analytics, including expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure services related to data, computing, storage, networking, and integration.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong command of SQL, with capabilities in debugging and optimizing queries.
- Experience in monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, and ensuring environment stability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, assess, and enhance customer data platforms within various cloud environments.
- Optimize cost-effectiveness, performance, scalability, and reliability in ecosystems such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
- Utilize FinOps, data operations, and IT operations skills to maintain platform stability and efficiency.
- Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and platform deployments.
- Employ infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and ensure environment consistency.
- Implement monitoring strategies, alert systems, runbooks, and best practices for incident management.
- Lead or assist in migrations, integrations, and modernization projects across cloud data warehouses and distributed systems.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers best practices and identifying potential risks while facilitating platform evolution.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistent outcomes.
