Data Engineering Solution Architect (Consulting) - New York City

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations in coordination with the outsourced accounting team and Senior Accountant - Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and prepare consolidated financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP and healthcare standards - Support external audits, financial reviews, and regulatory reporting efficiently - Address reconciliation variances and maintain precise financial documentation - Develop and implement strong internal control policies throughout all finance functions - Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes - Oversee accounting practices related to revenue recognition, cash flow, expenses, and fixed assets - Collaborate with FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Contribute to significant initiatives such as M&A activities, system upgrades, and financial integrations - Serve as a strategic financial partner to operations, revenue cycle, and leadership teams - Supervise and mentor both internal and external accounting personnel - Work collaboratively across departments to align financial objectives and deliverables - Clearly communicate financial insights, risks, and opportunities to various stakeholders - Ensure compliance with all tax, audit, and regulatory obligations - Liaise with external advisors concerning audits, tax submissions, and compliance issues
