Data Engineering Architect (Consulting) - Las Vegas

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations with our outsourced accounting team and Senior Accountant - Safeguard the integrity of the general ledger and prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and healthcare standards - Support external audits, financial reviews, and regulatory reporting processes - Address reconciliation discrepancies and maintain precise financial documentation - Develop and enforce robust internal control policies across all financial operations - Identify opportunities to optimize and automate accounting workflows - Oversee accounting processes for revenue recognition, cash flow, expenses, and fixed assets - Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Contribute to key initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, system upgrades, and financial integrations - Act as a strategic financial partner to operations, revenue cycle, and leadership teams - Supervise and mentor both internal and external accounting staff - Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives and deliverables - Clearly convey financial insights, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders - Ensure adherence to all tax, audit, and regulatory requirements - Work with external advisors on audits, tax filings, and compliance matters
