Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering and solution architecture, preferably in the Tech Services sector.
- Proven experience with Databricks, AWS, CICD pipelines, Deployments, and MLOps.
- Excellent customer-facing abilities, with the skill to comprehend and convert business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to think innovatively and devise solutions to complex data issues.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling the effective conveyance of complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deep commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and implementation of data engineering solutions utilizing Databricks, AWS, and other pertinent technologies.
- Develop and manage CICD pipelines and Deployments to guarantee smooth and effective delivery of solutions.
- Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and create customized data solutions.
- Engage with a diverse team of professionals, including data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts, to produce top-notch data solutions.
- Promote the adoption of MLOps practices within our organization to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our data solutions.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and solution architecture and leverage these to refine our solutions and processes.
