Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Proven experience in electrical and automation system design
- Proficiency in PLC programming and operator interface development
- Strong understanding of control architecture and power distribution
- Ability to translate process requirements into functional control strategies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% for project site visits
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical and automation systems for industrial applications
- Create and implement PLC-based automation solutions and plant connectivity platforms
- Develop technical documentation and control strategies based on process requirements
- Assist with the assembly, installation, commissioning, and performance validation of equipment
- Collaborate closely with various engineering teams to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Promote engineering standards and implement reliability enhancements
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members
- Travel to project sites for startup, troubleshooting, and client assistance as required
