Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in designing, programming, and implementing control systems for industrial processes
- In-depth knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens) and familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems
- Proficiency in programming languages like ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram
- Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging control systems, with a solid grasp of electrical and mechanical components
- Awareness of industry standards and regulations regarding control system design and safety
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial machinery to ensure high performance and reliability
- Collaborate with project teams to establish control system requirements and specifications
- Program and configure control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of control systems to identify and resolve any issues
- Work in partnership with engineering teams to integrate control systems with overall machine designs
- Monitor and analyze control system performance data, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing effective solutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams, assisting in troubleshooting control system issues
