Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; Masters degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior IT management position, ideally within the Energy sector.
- Proven track record in IT strategic planning, organization, and development.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT governance and operational practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in enterprise technology strategy and implementation.
- Strong grasp of data analysis, budgeting processes, and business operations.
- Extensive knowledge of IT systems and frameworks.
- Experience in designing, developing, and executing large-scale IT initiatives.
- Ability to cultivate consensus and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with strategic insight and sound judgment.
- Experience in cybersecurity and risk management methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a customer-centric IT strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.
- Oversee the IT departments daily operations, providing leadership for strategic IT initiatives.
- Safeguard company data by managing cybersecurity measures and staying informed on potential threats and IT security advancements.
- Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficiency and value delivery.
- Establish IT policies and systems to support upper managements strategic objectives.
- Foster and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service partners.
- Assess the technology needs across departments by analyzing business requirements.
- Recognize the necessity for system upgrades, configurations, or new implementations and report findings to senior management.
- Coordinate the activities of IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians, and other specialists, providing mentorship and direction.
- Monitor the IT departments performance, user satisfaction, and establish goals to support business objectives.
