Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role within the Accounting and Finance sector
- Proficiency in Power BI, ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and SSIS
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Familiarity with accounting and finance principles is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions including reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business intelligence requirements
- Interpret business needs and transform them into technical specifications
- Create complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction
- Utilize SSIS for ETL processes
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within BI solutions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI tools and systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Conduct system tests regularly and enforce security measures to protect data
- Stay informed on industry trends and propose new strategies to enhance data analysis and reporting
