Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
- Proficient in AL development and extension architectures
- Experience with Business Central in both SaaS and on-premises settings
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes including Finance, Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
- Familiarity with API integrations, web services, and data exchange methodologies
- Knowledge of source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience using Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Understanding of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus)
- Experience with SQL Server and data architecture
- Familiarity with migrating from NAV to Business Central
- Relevant Microsoft certifications for Dynamics 365 or Business Central
- Background in consulting or client-focused roles
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain extensions for Business Central using the AL programming language
- Customize and enhance the standard Business Central functionality in line with Microsoft best practices
- Create integrations between Business Central and external systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs
- Assist with data migrations, system upgrades, and deployments both in the cloud and on-premises
- Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business needs into technical solutions
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications, performance, and integrations
- Engage in code reviews, conduct testing, and provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with development standards
- Support activities post go-live and contribute to ongoing enhancements
- Stay informed about the latest Business Central updates, features, and Microsoft roadmap changes
