Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Proficiency in Rust with a solid understanding of its syntax and features.
- Extensive experience with blockchain technology along with its fundamental principles.
- Proven track record in designing and developing APIs.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on complex troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with professional software engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and operations.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable blockchain-based applications utilizing Rust.
- Collaborate with our frontend team to create innovative, user-centric interfaces.
- Develop secure and robust APIs that support backend functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and address technical challenges swiftly and efficiently.
- Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and promote knowledge sharing.
- Remain current with industry trends, technologies, and advancements in blockchain and Rust.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and implement new features to adapt to our business needs.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and debug issues effectively.
