Backend Engineer - Distributed Systems (Ruby)

- Lead design and project management for land development initiatives; coordinate with clients, external consultants, project teams, governmental officials, and permitting authorities - Develop comprehensive construction documents for diverse project types across multiple jurisdictions, with the support of civil engineering staff (addressing zoning challenges, stormwater management, subdivision and commercial site layouts, project permitting, schedules, and budgets, preliminary plats, SWPPP, grading, drainage, and utility systems) - Oversee and enhance civil design for land development projects, including stormwater, utility, and site layout planning - Manage project timelines, budgets, documentation, and quality assurance/control processes - Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers while enhancing your leadership capabilities - Assist in construction administration, compile permitting packages, and resolve field issues with practical solutions
